Meet Miss Rodeo, USA 2024

Kaelanne Quinonez

Hempstead, Texas

Kaelanne Quinonez of Hempstead, Texas, your Miss Rodeo USA 2024, is so excited to be here with you celebrating rodeo and the western way of life. Kaelanne was crowned Miss Rodeo USA 2024 at the 54th Annual International Finals Rodeo (IFR54) in Guthrie, Oklahoma, on January 14th. This annual, week-long event is sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA) and the Miss Rodeo USA Association, testing young ladies on everything from rodeo knowledge to horsemanship skills.

Kaelanne (k-lyn) Quinonez (kin-yo-nez), grew up riding horses on the beach and camping every summer along the beautiful central coast of California. She attended Cal Poly SLO where she received her Bachelot’s of Science in Animal Science and broke wild mustangs as her first job out of undergrad, until Texas called her home. She was accepted into Texas A&M where she spent a year studying ecohydrology and the effect of drought on West Texas ranches and in 2023 graduated with her Master’s in Business and a mission to promote rodeo and everything western! Kaelanne always had a love for rodeo and started her rodeo queening journey by representing her California hometown as Miss Santa Maria Elks Rodeo.. Since Then she has continued queening and content creating on everything from horse training, rodeo, ag policies, and western fashion.

She is excited for this year to promote the IPRA and rodeo as a whole, while sharing her platform. “Nose to the Grindstone, Eye on the Rhinestones”. As a first generation cowgirl, Kaelanne is honored to be an ambassador for western and a way of life she fell in love with from a young age. Keep your nose to the grindstone and eyes on the rhinestones so you can wrangle your dreams into reality!
